Buttercream Icing
1 cup butter (softened)
1 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
4-5 cups powdered sugar (may need more)
Cream Butter & shortening. Add vanilla. On low add sugar one cup at a time. Add one Tbsp of water at a time until you reach decided icing consistency. Store in an air tight container.
Royal Icing
3 Tbsp Meringue Powder (egg white powder)
4 cups powdered sugar
6 Tbsp water (more or less)
Beat all ingredients together until soft peaks form. Put in an air tight container for storage.
