Save the Date for the 5th Annual Great Cake Bake!
Cake decorators, sugar enthusiasts and artists of the buttercream get ready to pull out all the stops out to create a sugary vision for a great cause-The Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Knox County.
When: Saturday, February 22, 2025
Where: Tennessee Terrace Level of Neyland Stadium
Time: 12:00-5:00 pm
Cost: Each entry is $15, which sponsors one child to receive books for a year
NEW CATAGORIES THIS YEAR: Diaper Cakes and Cake Pops.
With competition stiffer than a good meringue, every year, the Great Cake Bake promises a delicious view of the region's sweetest creations.
Last year, more than 180 cakes were entered in three divisions: All Occasion, Wedding, and Single Cupcake. Bakers of all ages and skill sets are testing their talents for the benefit of Knox County's Imagination Library. Every dollar raised will buy a book for a child in Knox County.
This year, baby showers hostesses will be inspired by our new Diaper Cake division. Hand-crafted cakes made of diapers and baby goodies have become the unique center piece of babyshowers everywhere. Diaper Cakes themed to Imagination Library books will recieve extra points. Individuals or groups and organizations may enter a themed diaper cake to be judged and auctioned off to benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Knox County.
